Is the data I paste sent anywhere?
No. Formatting, encoding and decoding all run in your browser and make no network requests.
Does the JWT decoder verify the signature?
No. It only decodes so you can read the header and payload; it does not know the secret key, so it cannot check the signature. Do not treat a token as valid just because it decodes.
